Borderline Personality Disorder: My Daily Reality and My Purpose
Living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) means experiencing emotions at an intensity that can be overwhelming and, at times, difficult to control. Everyday situations can feel amplified what might seem small to others can trigger deep emotional responses like fear of abandonment, anger, sadness, or anxiety.
On a daily basis, I may struggle with mood swings, shifting self-image, and a constant push and pull in relationships. There are moments of feeling deeply connected to people, followed by sudden fear of losing them or feeling misunderstood. This can lead to impulsive decisions, emotional burnout, and a sense of instability that’s hard to explain to someone who hasn’t lived it.
BPD isn’t just about emotions it affects how I see myself and the world. Some days, I feel confident and capable; other days, I question my worth entirely. Managing these ups and downs takes constant effort, self-awareness, and resilience.
Why This Website Exists
This website was created to bring awareness to Borderline Personality Disorder to shed light on what it truly feels like beyond the stereotypes. There is often misunderstanding and stigma surrounding BPD, and that can make those living with it feel isolated or judged.
My goal is to share real experiences, promote understanding, and remind others that they are not alone. By speaking openly, I hope to create a space where people can learn, connect, and see BPD through a more human, honest lens.
